Bio:

Amir Blachman is an aerospace executive and investor with over 20 years of experience in strategy, finance, management, and board leadership. He has worked closely with NASA, SpaceX, Axiom, Thales Alenia, and other leading organizations to send people and payloads to space, and has advised major investors, consultancies such as BCG, and funding bodies within the U.S. Defense, Intelligence, and Space Communities.

In 2016, Amir joined Axiom Space as employee #1, helping grow the company to a multi-billion-dollar valuation. During his seven years at Axiom, he helped raise $500 million, sent twelve astronauts to space, and secured over $2 billion in commercial and government contracts. He also led global partnerships with Mitsui & Co., Prada, and Boryung. Amir co-authored a NASA-commissioned study that shaped the agency’s commercialization strategy for Low Earth Orbit and helped win Axiom a $140 million NASA contract granting the company critical access to the International Space Station.

Today, Amir serves as President of Outpost, where he is leading efforts to build a new layer of global logistics and manufacturing — enabling rapid cargo delivery from orbit to Earth and unlocking large-scale space-based production of high-value materials. Outpost’s technologies are poised to transform supply chains, disaster response, defense logistics, and industries reliant on advanced manufacturing.

Amir is a licensed instrument-rated pilot and holds a BA in Psychology from UC Santa Barbara and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He resides in Los Angeles with his family and remains committed to contributing to the aerospace industry, investment landscape, and his local community.
